The closer we get to Easter, the more I find myself thinking about how to set a lovely Easter Dinner Table.  Our family has grown so large over the years, it seems like I plan several large gatherings around our table.  And I love it!  All that festive celebrating gives me the chance to try out different Easter Table Decor ideas, using as much of my Vintage China, glassware, and other pretty pieces.

Easter Dinner Table

For our family, Easter is a relatively casual affair.  Lots of Fried Chicken and Deviled Eggs, and of course a Coconut Cake.  But I know many families set a very formal table, and their Easter Table Centerpieces are gorgeous floral arrangements with all the fancy china and crystal.

However you celebrate, incorporating a few Vintage pieces always makes for an interesting and elegant table scape.  I love pastels at Easter time, and have sources some of the most gorgeous Vintage Limoges China, colored glassware, and lovely vintage linens!

two needlepoint canvas bunnies by Melissa Shirley

Finally, you might have noticed these absolutely adorable standing needlepoint bunnies.  I wish I could take credit for this exceptional needlepoint.  They were needlepointed by my dear friend and needlepoint canvas designer and teacher Patricia Sone.  She designed the stitch guides for these canvases, designed by Melissa Shirley.  You can contact your local needlepoint shop to order the canvases, and of course Patricia’s stitch guides!  For reference the bunny on the left is MLT170 “Gardening Bunny”, and the bunny on the right is MLT201 “Bee Bunny.”  Thank you Patricia for lending me your amazing work for my Easter Dinner Table Scape!
