Is NYC cold in January? That would be a yes. Should we care? Nope. Because we will all be inside, enjoying some of the most important and interesting art and antiques shows in the country. January in NYC is All About Art and Antiques!
Hi friend! Like you, I am a really big fan of antiques and collectibles. I have been buying, collecting, and even selling for over 30 years now. Many of my good friends are Antique Dealers, sell at Antique Malls or Antique Shows, or sell Vintage Items or Vintage Collectibles. And one thing I hear over and over again from the entire Antique and Vintage community is this: I KNOW I need to be using Social Media to attract new customers and clients. But I just don’t know HOW.
Many of you all know that each January, I travel to NYC to antique, attend amazing art shows and an art auction or two. Why spend time in Art Auction Houses? To learn!
Y’all have probably gathered by now that my husband and I are collectors, and really enjoy the opportunity to travel anywhere to see amazing art and antiques. For the past four years, the Winter Antiques Show has been a permanent commitment on our calendar, and for anyone who enjoys beautiful art and antiques…this is a NYC show not-to-be missed!
In 2013, my husband and I made a trip to NYC, to specifically experience several antique shows taking place in mid-January. Following for many years the ads that appear in various art and antique magazines, this trip was really a bucket-list item for Will, a Folk Art collector. His greatest hope was to meet the legendary Folk Art Dealer, Allan Katz.
