Oh m’gosh y’all! I am so excited to launch The Curious Cowgirl Blog! Travel feeds my soul, and my greatest joy is sharing my discoveries with others! I have been working on launching this Blog, and it’s so rewarding to see it LIVE on the Internet, and I am proud to share my Travel Tales with you!
Why start a Travel and Lifestyle Blog? Awesome question! Back in 2009, I had the opportunity to spend about thirty days in Rome, Italy. Not quite a Tourist, and not quite a Local, I straddled both worlds, daily feeling both at home and unsure. I quickly learned to set aside my insecurities, and ask QUESTIONS! Let my curiosity chart my daily activities. And y’all, I met some of the most interesting people along the way, Venturing into nooks and crannies of Rome that most visitors never see, a really strong seed was planted in my soul….the desire to Travel, get out of my comfort zone, meet new and fascinating people, and ultimately share my experiences with anyone who seemed interested.
Shortly after returning to Dallas, I met my AMAZING husband Will, who is my biggest cheerleader, best Travel Buddy, and most willing accomplice! By nature he is bold and brazen and will walk through any door and ask any question until his curiosity is satisfied! A voracious reader and life-long learner, he and I LIVE to travel! Our first trip together….Rome, obviously.
I hope you will enjoy reading about my adventures! I hope you will find the people I introduce you to as fascinating as I do, and feel inspired to visit the places I have been. I hope you will share your travel experiences with ME. Please share my site with your friends…I know we have so much to talk about with each other!
