Friends, I have written so many individual posts about NYC. This is a great post to bookmark if you have plans to travel to NYC! Ready? Let’s do a NYC Review!
NYC Review: The Holidays
The Holidays are prime-time to enjoy New York City! If you are traveling with kids, defined as anyone under 18, this post will be very helpful to you! I have suggestions for TWO Christmas trees you should see, and also a post about the best spot for Italian Christmas cookies.
NYC Review: For First-Timers
If you’ve never visited NYC, I wrote this post chalk-full of tips and important info you will find helpful! Also, I recommend reading this post about how to ride the Subway, an essential mode of transportation! And if you have time to take a stroll down Madison Avenue, this post will be helpful to you! I also encourage first-timers, or really anyone, to do a little reading about NYC, and this reading list was curated by my husband, who is a voracious reader. Finally, this post is our combined list of our favorite films that really give a good flavor of NYC over the years.
By the way…if you are looking for a good hotel, I have a FREE Guide that will help you make that important decision! Click on the image below:
NYC Review: My Favorite Museums
There’s more posts in 2019 coming with reviews of the many amazing museums in NYC. I never miss the chance to pop in the MET, even if it’s only for an hour, there’s just so much to see. Here’s my guide for getting the most out of your visit to the MET. Free and fabulous, I highly recommend the American Folk Art Museum, with two locations. One in Lincoln Square, and the other in Long Island City. And, little tourists will enjoy the two museums I highlighted in this post.
NYC Review: Who’s Hungry?
All that running around The Big Apple is bound to leave you needing sustenance! I have a NYC Restaurant Guide for sale in my store, with over 25 suggestions! I also wrote about three lovely places to eat inside a museum! Remember, if it’s cocktail time, you might want to know about some of my favorite spots to enjoy an adult beverage!
NYC Review: Bringing NYC Home
I think most people like to find a little something when traveling as a memento of your trip! One way is to add an ornament to your Christmas Tree from the places you have visited, and this post has lots of darling suggestions for NYC related ornaments. Additionally, I also shared with you some of my favorite NYC flea market finds in this post and also in this post. And, January is a GREAT month to visit NYC, as there are many important art and antique shows taking place, as described in this post.
NYC Review: Where do the Locals Go?
It’s been my great pleasure to profile some of my favorite people in the world, who are all New Yorkers! In this post, Folk Art Guru Allan Katz shares many of his favorite spots. And, in this post, my good friend Josh Lowenfels, a.k.a. The Professor, has a lifetime of great tips and insights. Beau Ryan has so many great suggestions for his home city (and he’s also THE go-to guy for sourcing buyers for valuable estates). Finally, the amazingly talented artist and Folk Art Dealer, Steven Powers, is one of my favorite people to hang out with when in NYC!
Happy Travels to NYC folks!!!!
